Recent Activities of Upazila Cooperative Office, Lauhjong, Munshiganj.

In an effort to play a proper role in the overall development of the country, the Upazila Cooperative Office, Lauhjong, Munshiganj has been able to achieve significant success in maintaining the specific continuity of work as well as preparing the foundation to face future challenges in order to make the cooperative development-oriented and sustainable. New co-operative societies have been formed and new co-operatives have been enrolled in the past year. Audit of Co-operative Societies allocated during the previous year has been completed. Apart from this, institutional training has been provided to improve the skills of several cooperatives and employment of several persons has been provided annually. Socio-economic development of the village people and the cooperatives has been taken through the Sarbik Village Development Cooperative Association and the Water Management Cooperative Organization.
