Some achievements

 Cooperative Office, Lauhjong, Munshiganj has achieved significant success in the last few years in order to maintain the continuity of the work of the Directorate of Cooperatives to make the cooperatives smart as well as to face the future challenges. As a result of the innovative efforts of the officers, it is possible to turn the cooperative into a more people's organization and to improve its quality, to form a productive and sustainable cooperative in this department, to adopt the strategy of creating cooperative entrepreneurs, to play a supporting role in the production and marketing of cooperative products. New Cooperative Societies have been formed and newly enrolled in Cooperatives during the past year.  Need-based training provided to cooperatives through mobile teams. Many self-employment arrangements have been made through demand-based training and loans. Through these implemented and ongoing projects, several rural women and unemployed youth have been made self-reliant in the past year. 100% of Audit Fees and Cooperative Development Funds have been deposited in Government Exchequer during the past year.Besides, the poor families have been rehabilitated under the shelter scheme of the Prime Minister's Office and loans of lakhs of rupees have been disbursed for their employment. On the other hand, loans have been given in the previous financial year to ensure the marketability of the products produced by the co-operatives and to ensure fair prices. Debt collection is ongoing. Every cooperative society has been uploaded under the integrated platform form. Face book group has been opened for cooperatives. (Md. Abdul Quader, UCO)
